Apart from some light rain in the northwest at first and isolated showers along the Leinster coast, Sunday will be dry with a mixture of cloud and sunny spells. Moderate, northerly breezes will persist in the southeast, elsewhere winds will be light. Highest temperatures 8 to 11 degrees Celsius.





Need to confirm your place by 9pm on 27th October. In order to reduce costs, we will only be hiring bus sizes for the amount of confirmed places.

The County Orienterring day will take place in Dun na Ri, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan on Sunday 2nd November

We are meeting at 9:30am at the school (SSN)

The cost of this event is 10 Euro to cover the cost of the buses.
 
The event is open to Beavers, Cubs & Scouts.
 
The children will need:
 
Suitable trousers for walking-NOT JEANS - Any child arriving in Jeans will be sent home!!
Fleece jacket/jumper
Gloves
Fleece or woollen hat
Waterproof jacket with hood
Waterproof trousers
Packed lunch
Small Plastic bag for rubbish

As it can be quite messy in the forest, runners may or may not be acceptable. We will have to see closer to the day.

The event is due to finish before 3pm so we will be expected back at the school around 4:30.
Once again, we will issue a Tacutext before we leave to alert parents of the expected time of arrival.
